Europe Staff

kapitaniukPhilip & Heidi Kapitaniuk live in Recquignies, France, from where Philip directs BLF's bookstore in Belgium and printing operations in France. Before taking the position of Director of BLF Europe, Philip directed AES publishing for 15 years.

The Kapitaniuk's are actively involved in their local church: Philip as an elder with preaching responsibilities, and Heidi as Sunday School Superintendent. They have also been Youth Leaders for the past 12 years.

Philip and Heidi have seven children: Stéphane is serving with OM, Jérémie, Mélanie, Peter, Nathan and Laura are being home schooled, and Wesley is still a preschooler.

Pray for the Kapitaniuk family. Balancing mission leadership, church involvement, and raising a large family, while keeping their personal and spiritual lives in order, is a tremendous challenge.

kroederClement (Bud) and Charlotte Kroeker have been with BLF since it's beginnings. Bud's parents, Abe and Mary Kroeker, founded the literature ministry of BLF in France in 1952. Later, in 1959, Bud and his father began printing and publishing in a large house in northern Brussels, Belgium. Bud and Char claim Belgium as their home, having lived there for more than 40 years. They have six children (all born in Belgium) and 17 grandchildren. Bud is responsible for the technical operations, most of which include the computer systems of the plant. As a part of the Editorial team, Char's work has included adapting Sunday School material for the European and African cultures.

saxeRoger & Rosemary Saxe (WA) will be a tremendous help at our publishing house in France. With 42 years of printing experience, Roger will fill a very basic need! Rosemary's role will also be an important one as she helps out in the office and uses her gift of hospitality in caring for our Impressions Team members.

Roger & Rosemary have done two other missions trips - one to Pakistan for a summer with Teen Missions, and later with Arab World Ministries in Marseille, France, where Roger learned to speak French fairly well.

The Saxe's have 8 grown children and 10 grandchildren. Please pray for Roger & Rosemary as they begin their term of missionary service in France They are eager to serve the Lord with the gifts and talents He has given them, and appreciate each one who supports them in this new endeavor!

EgglestonKevin & Debbi Eggleston (CA) have already served BLF extensively as Host couple to the teams and as construction supervisors, but will now be a permanent part of our Europe staff. Kevin and Debbi will be the IT Europe Coordinators in France from March through October of each year, allowing them to be back in El Cajon to reconnect with their three grown children during the winter months when teams are not present.

Both Kevin and Debbie have wonderful, vibrant personalities and countless gifts and talents that qualify them for this high-energy position. Your prayers on their behalf would be much appreciated.

MaryMary Cayot (CA) is joining our BLF missionary family in France for a 6-month term at the print shop. With a limited amount of French and an unlimited zeal to serve the Lord, Mary will be a welcome addition to the staff.

Pray for Mary as she raises support in her home area of El Cajon, CA and prepares for this adventure in servanthood.

NathanNathan Phillips (WA) is back in France for a second term with BLF! He is continuing in the role he had during his first term – that of Graphic Artist.

Please pray for Nathan as he serves the Lord with his artistic skills and with his love for the people of France.

Cherise LacazeCherise Lacaze (OR) will be serving in Marpent, France as office assistant at the print shop for 2 months this summer. With a BA in Psychology from George Fox University, and a bit of French, Cherise is exploring missionary service. We trust her short time with BLF will give her a vision for missions, and will clarify her sense of God’s direction for her life.
